- How soon do I need to order our wedding invitations from Atelier Violet?
The sooner the better. For personalized stationery from our existing designs we suggest 3-4 months ahead of your event date. This time frame allows enough time for creating, reviewing or editing your proofs, followed by 2-4 weeks standard time of production.
If you plan a wedding abroad we recommend starting 6-8 months at the latest prior to your event date so your guests can book their flights and accommodations on time.
- Can I request a sample of my invitation before I place an order?
We encourage you to order a sample so you can see the colours and feel the quality of our handmade wedding invitations in person. You may order sample(s) by using Contact Us form or visit our Samples section on Etsy. The price for enveloped invitations is 5.00 Euro/each and for boxed invitations is 10.00 Euro/each + shipping to your delivery country. Please note the samples come with standard wording and not personalised. Personalisation with your names and wedding date is reserved for real orders only.
- When will I receive my samples?
Each sample is made to order so please allow 1-3 working days of production when ordering. Your samples will be shipped with priority registered mail (signature is required) via Bulgarian Posts. For the estimated delivery time please see Shipping.
- Can I customize the colour of my samples?
Yes. We understand the importance of making each wedding invitation order uniquely yours and we believe it is the best way to see the final look of your invites. We will be happy to also include additional colour swatches and materials in case you are still not sure of your wedding theme and colour scheme.
- How many invitations should I order?
It is better to start with a list of the guests you are planning to invite. The number of the guests doesn’t mean you need the same number of invitations. Usually one invitation gets sent to per couple or per family and one for single guests. We also advise you to order an extra 10% of invitations for last-minute additions to your list.
- Is there a minimum order?
Yes, we require a minimum order quantity of 20 for each product.
- Can I add or remove certain elements (flowers, ribbon, crystals, etc.) to an existing invitation/ wedding favour design?
Absolutely! The handmade nature of our stationery is flexible and fully customizable. You can change the invitation designs with the addition or removal of nearly any design element you see on our site. If you don’t see a particular item you are looking for, just contact us to discuss your specific request. We’ll be happy to help you get the exact look you want. Please note those changes may lead to longer time for creating new proofs and (but not neccessary) price changes.
- Can I choose my own wording for my wedding invitations?
Of course. We have a number of suggested wording templates but you are welcome to provide us with the wording of your choice.
- Are you able to create a design in a second language?
Yes, we are able to use a second language for the text of your invitations. But keep in mind the responsibility of translation and proofreading the text for accuracy, remains yours.
- What are your payment terms?
Due to the handmade-to-order nature of your wedding invitations and stationery, payment is to be made in full upon placing your order.
- What types of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept PayPal and credit card payments processed securely via PayPal's website. We do not store any payment details on our website.
For direct bank transfers please contact us in advance and specify the payment method you are comfortable with.
